영국에서 근위병 교대식을 다녀오는 블로그 포스트를 작성하며, 오타와에서 다녀왔던 것이 생각이 났다.

イギリスで近衛兵（このえへい）の交代式でのポストを作成していた時、オタワでも行ってきたことが不図（ふと）思い出した。

Writing a post about Changing of the Guard ceremony in London, it reminded me of the same one in Ottawa.

영국 런던의 교대식을 모델로 한 퍼레이드식 무료 이벤트로 매일 오전 10시의 훈련과 음악이 어우러진 전통 의식을 경험할 수 있다고! 

 

イギリスロンドンの交代式をモデルにしたパレード式無料イベントで毎日午前１０時に訓練と音楽が混じり合った伝統意識を経験することができる。

 

The free event, which is modeled on the one in London, England, is a parade representing the changing of the guards. Experience the music and colourful drills of this traditional ceremony at 10:00 a.m. every day from June 23 to August 24, 2019.

여름, 겨울 두 번정도 우리가 방학을 갖듯이 교대식도 잠시 중지하는 듯싶었다. 

국회의사당 앞 잔디에서 행해지고, 우리가 간 날은 오타와에서 행해지는 마지막 교대식이여서 그런지 사람이 정말 많았다.

그래도 워낙 넓어서 그런지 영국에서 처럼 관광객이 미친 듯이 붐비고 그렇지는 않았다. 

 

하늘도 청명하고, 잔디도 푸르르고 북미 문학에 나올 것 같은 자연을 꼭 가져다 놓은 것만큼 아름다운 풍경과 붉은 군복의 장병들의 조화는 하나의 예술작품처럼 아름다웠다. 

 

夏、冬二回程度我々が長い休みを取るように、交代式も暫く中止するようだった。

国会議事堂の庭で行われ、私たちが観に行った日はオタワでの最後の交代式だったため（オタワにしては）沢山の人が集まっていた。

でもかなりの広さのおかげでイギリスで行った時より滅茶苦茶混んだりはしていなかった。

 

空も綺麗で、芝生（しばふ）も緑色で北米のある文学に出てそうな自然を取っておいたように綺麗な風景と真っ赤のユニフォームの兵士たちのハーモニーはまるで一つの芸術のようだった。

 

It seems they carry out the ceremony with twice of breaks as same as we have a break between semesters. 

The ceremony is always held on the Hill and so many people were there to watch it for the last before summer comes. 

Now I can feel I was lucky at the time because It wasn't as packed as London

 

The sky was clear and blue, I was blessed to see harmonies, such as artwork, of beautiful nature which would have been popped up from North American literature and guards wearing an intense red uniform.

 캐나다 근위병 교대식은 1959년 Parliament Hill(국회의사당 앞 언덕)에서 행해진 것이 최초이다. 당시에는 오타와의 근위대(Governor General’s Foot Guards)와 몬트리올의 근위대 (Canadian Grenadier Guards)가 교대했었고, 오늘날의 근위병들은 캐나다 각지에서 온 사람들로 구성되어 이러한 두 근위대의 전통과 관습을 계승하였다고 한다. 

 

カナダの近衛兵交代式は1959年Parliament Hill（国会議事堂前の芝生）で行われたのが最初である。当時はオタワの近衛兵（Governor General's Foot Guards）とモントリオールの近衛兵（Canadian Gerenadier Guaurds)が交代し、今日の近衛兵はカナダ各自から集まった人で構成され、伝統と慣習を受け継いだそうだ。

 

 The first Guard Mount took place on Parliament Hill in 1959. It was carried out by the Regiment of Canadian Guards, a Regular Force regiment of the Canadian Armed Forces. The Public Duties Detachment was later manned by the two Reserve Guards Regiments, the Governor General’s Foot Guards, from Ottawa, and the Canadian Grenadier Guards, from Montreal. Today the Ceremonial Guard is comprised of soldiers from units across Canada who wear and adopt the customs and traditions of these two Guards Regiments.

식이 시작되기 전 교대하는 근위병들 앞에 전통 악사들도 함께 :) Traditional marching band before the ceremony getting started~ 

 

교대식이 끝나고 다같이 근위병과 함께!! 용기내서 사진 찍길 잘했다.. 역시 사진은 아시아인한테 부탁해야됌 1 Took a photo with one of the guards, Asians are best photographer 1 hahah

오타와를 떠나기 정말 정말 마지막에 보낸 행복했던 추억 중 하나..

이 친구들을 너무 늦게 알아버려서 함께 보낼 수 있는 시간이 한정적이었던 게 정말 아쉬웠지.. 

왜 늘 좋은 친구들은 내가 어디론가 떠나버리기 직전에 알게 되는 걸까.. Merci les amis

 

オタワから離れる前の幸せだった最後の思い出。

もうちょっと早めに知り合えばよかったなーと何度も後悔してた。一緒にいる時間が限られて物凄く悲しかったし…

なんでこんなに良い友達はいつも私がどこかに去るその直前に知り合うんだろう…。Merci les amis!! 

 

One of the best memories before I left Ottawa. 

It's too bad that I'd got limited time to spend with them because I got to know them too late. 

Why do I always find good friends out before I leave somewhere?...Merci les amis
